UNC Participates in ‘Latch on America’ Tour for National Breastfeeding Awareness Month

latch-on busIn honor of National Breastfeeding Awareness Month, Milk for Thought, an organization that aims to raise awareness about breastfeeding, is conducting a nationwide “Latch on America” bus tour. The group’s tour bus, which brings attention to local breastfeeding support and available resources, stopped at Chapel Hill, NC, as one of its 30 nationwide stops on August 11. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health’s Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute (CGBI) and partners participated in the stop by sharing information on breastfeeding for visitors.  Full article.
